I'm frequently using alt+right-click (PC) to quickly select layers (I'm not using Auto-select). Sometimes I must work with a locked top layer set to multiply as a reference for what I'm working on, on the lower layers. Is there a way to ignore that top layer when using alt+right-click for selection? Apr 03, 2017 On Mac, hold down OPT+CMD and click to do this. On Windows hold down ALT and right-click to do the same. Add Shift in too and you can set your color. Hit the Spacebar and you can isolate the color, so you can play with the Hue.

- I tried all the versions including the latest 21.2.4 and it's happening everywhere. It's working in Photoshop v20 and earlier though. When I press alt+right click to resize my brush with preview, nothing happens. If I hold the key combination a little longer, after a second or so it starts to resize. But it does not work smooth.

This opens the default HUD Color Picker, with a Hue strip along the right and what Adobe calls the Hue cube on the left. Once your mouse button is.
