Effective February 27, Adobe is discontinuing the sale of Creative Suite 6 (CS6) under its volume licensing programs. Instead these products are available via a subscription to Adobe’s “Creative Cloud.”
CS6 is the first suite that Adobe is offering as part of a subscription package called Adobe Creative Cloud - annual subscribers can a monthly fee of £38 while it's £57.17 for month-by-month. I bought Creative suite CS6 in 2012, and installed onto a MAC desktop and laptop. My laptop is now defunct and I would like to download the whole package again onto a new Mac laptop. How do I do this. I have the serial #. I have been navigating the Adobe sites for hours and cannot find any answers. Thanks for your help. As many of you may have heard, Adobe discontinued the availability of Creative Suite 6 (CS6) to our volume commercial and government customers in June of 2014. Based on the positive market response and the need to focus on Creative Cloud innovation, Adobe is removing the almost three-year old software from our education volume license offerings as well.
Effective February 28, 2015 (Japan on April 1), we are making Creative Cloud the exclusive source for all creative licensing. This means that CS6 will no longer be available to education customers under our Cumulative (CLP) and Transactional (TLP) licensing programs. All other Adobe products available under CLP and TLP, such as Adobe Acrobat, Elements products, eLearning Suite, Adobe Presenter, and Adobe Captivate, etc. will be unaffected by this change.

Moving forward, education customers can obtain discounted Adobe Creative Cloud memberships via our CC Student Teacher edition for individuals and Value Incentive Plan (VIP) or Enterprise Term Licensing Agreement (ETLA) for institutions.
Adobe representatives and/or authorized Adobe education resellers can assist with the selection of the right licensing program for your needs.

Adobe’s single user license allows installation of a single product license on two machines (such as one work machine and one home machine) provided the software is used by the same individual and not concurrently on both machines.
Note: If you want to install the product on a third computer, you must first deactivate the software on one computer. To deactivate, choose Help > Deactivate.
The Creative Suite 6 installer installs fonts into a default system font directory. If the installer finds older versions of these fonts in the default system font directory, it will uninstall the older versions, and save them to a new directory. Fonts installed with the Adobe product are also on your installer DVD. If you downloaded your software, look in the separate product content file.

- GB18030 support for Windows XP. In order to support the display of all characters of the Chinese standard GB18030 on Windows XP systems, Adobe recommends the installation of the Microsoft GB18030 Support Package. This support package will update an XP system with, among other things, fonts and input-method-editors (IMEs) to correctly support GB18030.
